App & Portal
I don't have an account for the app.
- For end users: ask your installer to give you access to the Sofar EMS. After he/she gives you access, you will receive an e-mail with login credentials.
- For installers: you can request an account through https://eniris.io/request-an-account or register through https://registration.eniris.be/.
I cannot login to the app.
- Reset your password using the "I forgot my password" link in the app login screen.
I don't get live data in the app / I don't have data.
- Check if the Sofar EMS is online.
There is energy coming from the 'house' icon in the app.
The 'house' contains the difference between the grid energy meter and the powers of all the devices connected to the Sofar EMS - in other words, the remaining power. In most cases this will correspond to the consumption of the other loads in the building. If a battery or solar inverter is not added to the Sofar EMS, then the Sofar EMS will also place it here.
If you have production coming from the 'house', and all batteries and inverters are added to the Sofar EMS, then check:
- If they are still communicating with the Sofar EMS
- If there are no energy meters wired in reverse (you can revert the direction in the device settings of the energy meter in the Sofar EMS if needed. See also Reversing energy meter readings.)
- If there are inverters that have no communication possibilities, you can as an alternative add an energy meter that measures those inverters and mark in the device settings of the energy meter that it is used to measure energy production. Its power will then also be placed under the 'solar panel' icon in the app.
My solar production is counted double.
- Check if you have an energy meter that measures your solar panels. In the groups, it should be indicated that it measures the solar panels. See also Assigning an energy meter to a group or device
The app shows import from the grid while there is actually export, and vice versa export when there is actually import.
- This can happen if the grid energy meter is wired in reverse. You can tell the Sofar EMS that the meter is connected in reverse through the device settings in the "Devices tab" of the commissioning interface. See also Reversing energy meter readings.
- CAUTION: Double check if your grid meter readings are effectively reversed. If they are not, and you faultly reverse them in the settings of the energy meter, this can make the control system unstable.
The energy measurements from the EMS and the manufacturers portal are different for my inverter / device.
The manufacturer may use a different method for registering the energy production or consumption of a device. In many cases accurate energy readings are not available, in which case the Sofar EMS will base the energy measurements on the power values it reads out. In any case, this does not affect the performance of the control algorithms of the Sofar EMS.
