Verbindung

Die Kommunikation zwischen der Sofar und dem Energiezähler erfolgt über einen RS-485-Serienbus oder Modbus TCP.

Es wird empfohlen, abgeschirmte Kabel mit verdrillten Paaren für optimale Leistung zu verwenden. Für kurze Strecken kann ein verdrilltes Paar aus einem Netzwerkkabel (mindestens CAT5e) verwendet werden.

There is no general consensus in the industry about the usage of A and B for the RS485 polarity, so it may be counterintuitive and opposite of what you might expect for some devices.
