Charging schedules

The app can schedule electric-vehicle charging per connector at each charging station. A rule defines how much energy or driving range a connected vehicle should receive before a deadline.

Available rule types

Create a target for:

1. A fixed time on selected days of the week, for a recurring charging routine.
2. A fixed date and time, for a one-off deadline.

The app always uses the next applicable rule. When no future rule is configured, the vehicle is allowed to charge until it is full, subject to the charging station, vehicle, site limits, and active controller functions.

Before relying on a schedule

• Confirm that the correct charging station and connector are selected.
• Choose whether the target is expressed in kilometres or kWh.
• Check that the vehicle remains connected long enough to reach the target.
• Allow for the maximum charging power of the vehicle and charging station.
• Verify whether another site or controller limit can reduce the available charging power.
