The EMS has a high data usage

Steps to undertake:

  • Check if the data saver is active. See also Data saver.
  • If you use external signals (see the tab "External data sources" in the Sofar EMS), then the data usage might be higher than usual, depending on the data source. This is a side effect of the fact that most external signals are live and require a constant connection.
  • If the Sofar EMS is on a 4G/5G connection, check if the data bundle is large enough. See also Data saver.
  • Check if there are no other devices on the same 4G/5G connection that might use a lot of data.
