Read strategies, decisions, setpoints and limiting factors.
The Controller control panel explains what the controller is doing and which signals are constraining its decision. It is available when the selected installation or device exposes the relevant control information.
Each stream shows the strategy, its explanation and any limiting factor. Check the timestamps before drawing a conclusion. Fictional demonstration data.
The panel groups control streams and displays available status, strategy, decision and limit information. An external control signal, a device limit and a grid limit can coexist. The binding constraint may therefore differ from the strategy's preferred operating point.
Suppose the requested charging power is higher than measured charging power. First compare timestamps: a current setpoint and an old power measurement are not simultaneous evidence. Then inspect any device and connection limits. A battery approaching its allowed charge level or a constrained grid connection may prevent the requested power from being reached.
The panel provides operational explanations. Opening a strategy or refreshing readings does not change the controller's configuration. Device-property editing and controller commissioning are separate operations with their own permissions.
An installation may provide measurements without all strategy explanations. A missing explanation is not proof that control is inactive. If only part of a request succeeds, available signals remain visible and missing ones remain empty. Refresh once, then check telemetry and timestamps before escalating a suspected control fault.
