The Accuracy of Data

Although an installation's historical data may originate from the manufacturer's data platform, this does not guarantee that it will align perfectly with data from the metering company or grid operator.

Possible Causes of Data Discrepancies

Manufacturer vs. Metering Company or Grid Operator

  • Some manufacturers systematically report slightly higher or lower production values (typically higher).
  • Cable losses can cause the grid operator or metering company to report lower production than the manufacturer’s platform.
  • These discrepancies are usually no greater than 1%.

Processing Errors

Errors may also occur during data processing on our end. Eniris cannot guarantee that all processed data is entirely accurate.
If you have concerns about the accuracy of the data, you can request reprocessing via our sales team, who will provide a quote for the necessary work.

Other Possible Causes of Discrepancies Between Manufacturer Portals and Eniris

Bar Chart Calculations

  • Our bar charts use energy differences reported by meters.
  • These differences are summed over longer periods in our database to optimize performance.
  • Errors may occur if the manufacturer's portal experiences issues or if errors arise during our data processing.

Corrupted or Incomplete Data Uploads

  • Datalogger issues can lead to corrupted data.
  • Files may be missing or incorrectly uploaded, leading to incomplete datasets.
