Use the portfolio table for comparison and understand temporary versus configured visibility.
The table layout is best for comparing the same KPI across many installations. Its exact columns are defined by the configured dashboard route and page settings rather than one universal SmartgridX schema.
Use the global installation search to jump directly to an asset; use the table search when you only want to filter the current portfolio.
Page settings can expose different portfolio elements and alarm tiles to owners and visitors.
Use the table's column selector to show or hide columns for the current working session. This is useful during an investigation when you want to focus on a small set of signals without changing the default for other users.
The owner and visitor views can have different alarm tiles, sort fields, sort order, page size, and initial filters.
When your role exposes page settings:

Removing a column from a table changes presentation only. It does not stop telemetry, alarms, reports, or device operation.
