Cableado
Ethernet
Aplicable solo a PM5320, PM5340 y PM5341. Para un cableado ethernet correcto: siga las directrices para el cableado ethernet.
RS485
Los terminales RS485 están ubicados en la parte inferior del dispositivo (conector 6 en el diagrama a continuación).
RS485 Wiring
- For correct RS485 wiring: Follow the guidelines for RS485 wiring.
- If the wiring shown in the table below is incorrect, please let us know.
- There is no general consensus in the industry about the usage of A and B for the RS485 polarity, so it may be counterintuitive and opposite of what you might expect for some devices.

Nota
Blindaje: El cable de blindaje debe conectarse al Terminal 24 (SHLD). Tenga en cuenta que el terminal de tierra no está disponible en el medidor mismo; el blindaje debe conectarse a tierra en el otro extremo del bus[cite: 246, 1627].
Configuración
Ethernet
Aplicable solo a PM5320, PM5340 y PM5341. Para configurar la dirección IP:
- Navegue a Maint > Setup > Comm > Enet.
- Configure la Dirección IP, Máscara de Subred y Gateway.
- Asegúrese de que el protocolo Modbus TCP esté habilitado (generalmente Puerto 502).
RS485
NOTE: RS485 Device Addresses
- You MUST give each device on the RS485 bus a unique address. Check the manual of the device on how to do this.
- Use lower addresses first (1, 2, ...) because the Sofar EMS will find them faster!
- For each device, it is generally recommended to stick with the factory default baud rate, parity, and stop bits. The Sofar EMS will scan on those first.
Para configurar los ajustes de Serie (velocidad, paridad, ID):
- Navegue a Maint > Setup > Comm > Ser.
- Edite la Address (ID de unidad), velocidad Baud y Parity para que coincidan con la configuración de su gateway.
