Bekabeling
RS485
De ABB B-serie meters (B21, B23, B24) gebruiken een 3-polige RS485 verbinding. Sluit deze aan op de EMS als volgt, gebaseerd op de markeringen op de meter.
1. Apparaat (ABB Meter) Pinout
Deze tabel toont de aansluitingen op de meter zelf.

BELANGRIJK: Probleemoplossing
De aanduidingen 'A' en 'B' zijn niet universeel gestandaardiseerd. Als de EMS het apparaat niet kan vinden tijdens een scan, komt dit vaak door een verkeerde bekabeling.
Wissel de A- en B-draad (tussen de controller en de meter) en probeer opnieuw te scannen.
2. Controller & Converter Pinout
Deze tabel toont de corresponderende RS485-pinnen op Sofar controllers en converters. Koppel de 'A' en 'B' van de meter (zie tabel hierboven) aan de 'A' en 'B' op uw controller.
RS485 Wiring
- For correct RS485 wiring: Follow the guidelines for RS485 wiring.
- If the wiring shown in the table below is incorrect, please let us know.
- There is no general consensus in the industry about the usage of A and B for the RS485 polarity, so it may be counterintuitive and opposite of what you might expect for some devices.

Configuratie
NOTE: RS485 Device Addresses
- You MUST give each device on the RS485 bus a unique address. Check the manual of the device on how to do this.
- Use lower addresses first (1, 2, ...) because the Sofar EMS will find them faster!
- For each device, it is generally recommended to stick with the factory default baud rate, parity, and stop bits. The Sofar EMS will scan on those first.
Gebruik de volgende Modbus-instellingen in de apparaatwizard van de EMS. Dit zijn de standaardinstellingen voor de meter:
- Baudrate: 19200
- Modbus-adres: 1 (of het adres dat op de meter is ingesteld)
- Pariteit: Even
- Stopbits: 2
