RS485 Wiring
- For correct RS485 wiring: Follow the guidelines for RS485 wiring.
- If the wiring shown in the table below is incorrect, please let us know.
- There is no general consensus in the industry about the usage of A and B for the RS485 polarity, so it may be counterintuitive and opposite of what you might expect for some devices.

Waarschuwing
NOTE: RS485 Device Addresses
- You MUST give each device on the RS485 bus a unique address. Check the manual of the device on how to do this.
- Use lower addresses first (1, 2, ...) because the Sofar EMS will find them faster!
- For each device, it is generally recommended to stick with the factory default baud rate, parity, and stop bits. The Sofar EMS will scan on those first.

Configuratie
RS485 Configuratie
Om RS485-communicatie op BMR energiemeters te configureren, volg deze stappen:

Stel het Modbus-adres in:
- Ga naar het instellingenmenu door de SET knop 5 seconden ingedrukt te houden.
- Navigeer met de cursortoetsen naar het communicatiemenu (
P_2). - Stel de Id (uniek Modbus-adres) in tussen 1 en 247.

Stel de baudrate in:
- Configureer in het communicatiemenu (
P_2) de bd (baudrate) zodat deze overeenkomt met uw systeem. Ondersteunde baudrates zijn onder andere9.6 / 19.2 / 38.4 / 57.6 / 115 kBd.
- Configureer in het communicatiemenu (

Parity en stopbits:
- Stel PAr (parity) in als
None,Odd, ofEven. - Stel de St (stopbits) in op
1of2indien nodig.

RS485 terminatie:
- Indien de meter het laatste apparaat op de RS485-bus is, voeg dan een 120 Ω terminatieweerstand toe.

Ethernet Configuratie (alleen PLA33RX)
Voor apparaten met Ethernet-mogelijkheid:
- Zorg dat de Ethernet-kabel correct is aangesloten.
- Gebruik de Power Monitoring Software (PMS) om het IP-adres, subnetmasker en gateway te configureren.
- Controleer dat de Modbus TCP-poort ingesteld is op 502.
