Historical data

Historical imports are used to close a known data gap or migrate a trustworthy source into SmartgridX Monitoring. They should preserve the meaning of the original series rather than merely filling a chart.

Safe import sequence

1. Identify the exact installation, device, signal, unit, and source timezone.
2. Export a small sample and verify delimiter, decimal separator, timestamp format, and counter behaviour.
3. Compare the requested interval with data that already exists.
4. Import a limited range first.
5. Validate the first point, last point, expected interval, and totals in the portal.
6. Only then import the full approved period.

Validate the imported range in the destination device context, not only in the source-transfer tool.
