Diagnose delivery, authentication, network, and parsing problems in the correct order.
For a new connection, follow the datalogger setup guide. The customer or installer configures export on the logger using FTP credentials supplied by Eniris. Use the issued destination and folder settings for this connection.
Use the following sequence to distinguish a Solar-Log configuration problem from a SmartgridX processing problem.
Check whether recent data is visible in the local Solar-Log interface or manufacturer portal. If not, resolve power, internet, clock, or logger issues first.
Compare the configured server address, protocol, port, username, remote path, and security mode with the issued credentials. A wrong destination can prevent any connection attempt; a wrong username can make the upload difficult to identify in source-specific logs.
Verify DNS resolution, outbound firewall rules, and any required passive-mode or TLS settings. Record the exact connection error shown by the logger.
Use the FTP tool to identify the last file received for the source. Compare its timestamp and size with the expected upload interval.
Open the mapped installation and compare the file time with the first or last resulting measurement. If the file arrived but no telemetry appears, provide the filename, source identifier, installation, and affected period to Support.
Avoid repeated blind changes
Change one connection setting at a time and keep the exact error. Replacing several parameters simultaneously removes useful diagnostic evidence and can trigger claim or authentication rate limits.
