Compare meter telemetry, identify stale devices, and open a meter for detailed analysis.
The Power meters page gives owners a portfolio-wide view of meter devices. It is most useful for checking whether grid, production, storage, and submeter data are arriving before you investigate an individual installation.
Names, serial numbers, and values in this example are anonymized.
| Column group | What to check |
|---|---|
| Identity | Confirm the meter name and serial number match the intended physical or virtual source. |
| Active power | Check the sign convention before interpreting import, export, charge, or discharge. |
| Imported energy | Compare daily and yearly totals with the expected consumption boundary. |
| Exported energy | Verify that generation or battery export is recorded on the intended meter. |
| Status | Treat stale or unavailable data as a communication or mapping issue before analysing energy totals. |
Open the meter to choose the exact interval, inspect its signal, and relate it back to the parent installation.
A negative value needs context
The meaning of a negative power value depends on the configured measurement direction. Verify the site's convention before reporting import, export, charging, or discharging.
To add or subtract several meter signals without changing the installation topology, create a virtual meter in Analyses. For a controller-side residual meter or an aggregate used for control, see Virtual energy meters and meter aggregation.
