Configure rule templates, watchdogs, telemetry-based detection, notifications, and access in Advanced alarms.
Advanced alarms combines four parts of operational supervision:
Group alarms by installation or device type, then compare communication, production, storage, grid, PR, and uptime signals. Example entities and values are anonymized.
Manufacturer alarms have their own log and filters. Check it separately from Insights alarm logic when a device reports an internal fault.

The template editor only offers configured dashboard routes ending in -alarm; an optional settings page must end in -settings. This keeps the alarm configuration attached to compatible views.
An alarm without scope or action is incomplete
After creating a watchdog, verify the supervised devices or roles, the trigger state, recipients, timezone, period, and delay. A saved configuration can still be operationally ineffective when one of these is missing.

Schedule alarm evaluation, select supervised entities, and notify the right recipients.
Use default alarms as a conservative starting point and tune them to each data source.
