Understand how role membership, device authority, and page settings combine.
SmartgridX roles are metadata objects associated with a company and view. Their names can follow organisation-specific conventions, so the effective rights and scope matter more than the label alone.

The membership list is the practical place to verify which email addresses currently inherit each role.
These are patterns, not hard-coded guarantees. Always inspect the role's actual relations and validate the resulting portal.
Why a menu differs between two users
The navigation is recalculated from ownership, device authority, active site types, page settings, feature flags, and available data. Different menus are expected when any of those inputs differ.
