The RS485 connection is made via the 16-pin COM connector at the bottom of the converter.

By default, the inverter is set to address 1. This can be changed via the display of the inverter. You can find the procedure in chapter 7.3.2 of the manual.
Remote dispatch remains available after a temporary failure to read the capability flag. Other monitoring improvements treat failed reads as missing data rather than zero power or an old firmware version.
A custom S6-EH3P15K-H variant adds AC-coupled PV measurement at the SmartPort and adapts remote-dispatch handling. A separate S6-EH1P5K-L-PLUS variant handles its single-phase measurements, battery-power calculation and PV-input detection. These are different model mappings; request the exact variant.
